CAMP HILL, PA - Momentum, Inc. has twice the reason to celebrate this October. The management consulting firm recognized for producing results congratulates two of its employees Jennifer Oswald, Director of Business Development, and Emily Iem, Director of Service Delivery, for being named as recipients of the Central Penn Business Journal's Forty Under 40 award. Oswald, Iem, and the other 38 members of the 2008 award class were honored at an awards banquet on October 23, 2008 at the Hilton Harrisburg.

The Central Penn Business Journal and several area partners facilitate this prestigious annual competition that acknowledges outstanding individuals and their commitment to professional excellence and community involvement.

"We are proud that Jennifer and Emily are a part of the Momentum Team," said Karen Sarabok, one of Momentum's Principals.

"Their hard work and dedication, not only to Momentum but to the industry in general, should be commended - they definitely deserve to be named on this elite list," she said.

Jennifer Oswald, Director of Business Development
In just seven years, Oswald has accelerated her career at Momentum, Inc. from consultant to a management position serving as both the Operations and Business Development Manager and most recently, as Director of Business Development. She has diverse professional experience in both state and federal public sectors, as well as in private industry. She has participated in several high-profile projects that have impacted the community.

Oswald's efforts have been instrumental in growing Momentum from nine full time employees in 2001 to 35 full time employees in 2008, while proactively eliminating potential negative impacts due to rapid growth. The growth and success of the Operations Team is also a direct result of her leadership and management.

Oswald volunteers in the local community, including holding the title of Finance Chair at the Central Pennsylvania Association of Female Executives, where she coordinates budget activities, facilitates meetings, and reconciles accounts.

Emily Iem, Director of Operations and Finance
Iem has an equally impressive career. As a former Principal Consultant and current Director of Operations and Finance for Momentum, Inc., Emily Iem is an experienced Project Management Professional® (PMP®), Certified Business Analysis Professional™ (CBAP™) (one of the first 50 CBAPs in the world), and team lead. Her solid leadership and decision making skills have made her a valuable asset to the company, promoting her from a consultant to a principal consultant to the Director of Operations and Finance in just three years.

Most recently, Iem's focus has been on the growth and maturity of the Business Analysis profession in Central Pennsylvania. She works to promote the recognition of the imperative role of the Business Analyst in projects. In 2007, Iem led the charge to establish the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis™ (IIBA™). As acting President of the Board of Directors, Emily led the Board in establishing the Chapter Petition and Bylaws and preparing for the official launch. She also developed the coursework that allowed Momentum to become the first IIBA Endorsed Education Provider (EEP) in Central PA.
