CAMP HILL, PA - For the second consecutive year, Momentum, Inc., the management consulting firm recognized for producing results was chosen as part of the Central Penn Business Journal's Best Places to Work in PA. Momentum officially received this honor at an awards banquet at the Hershey Lodge on December 2, 2008. This year, Momentum moved up in ranking from #43 to #39 on the list of medium-sized businesses.

This distinction follows on the heels of an award-winning year at Momentum. In 2008, Momentum has also won the Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies Award - #28, #1 Women-Owned Business designation (CPBJ List, #2 Consulting Firm designation (CPBJ List), CWOPA Supplier Diversity Conference small business honor, #7 Computer Consulting Company designation (CPBJ List), Forty Under 40 Award Winners (2 Momentum employees), and the Technology Provider of the Year Award Finalist for the Technology Council of Central PA.

The Best Places to Work in PA list is made up of 100 companies split into two groups: 50 medium-sized companies (25-250 employees) and 50 large-sized companies (251 or more employees). Momentum has been named as one of the Best Places to Work in PA in the medium category.

All nominated companies must meet basic eligibility requirements and undergo a thorough company evaluation to be considered for selection. During the assessment phase of the competition, the evaluators reviewed and scored workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics, and surveyed employees to measure employee experience. The combined scores of both evaluations determined the top companies and their respective rankings.
