Momentum, Inc. finished as a finalist for the Small Business of the Year Award by the Harrisburg Regional Chamber on Tuesday.

The annual Awards Ceremony is designed to recognize Harrisburg Regional Chamber members and their achievements.  Other awards include the Entrepreneur of the Year, Stay Invent the Future, Business Diversity Champion, and Government Leader of the Year, among others.

This is Momentum’s first time being nominated for the award.  Finalists were chosen from a pool of nominees who were asked to provide information on several topics to be considered for the award, including their business stability, commitment to workplace innovation and involvement in volunteer activities.  The nominees were subsequently narrowed down to a group of finalists.  The finalists each met with the committee in charge of the award nominations for a final interview for consideration.

This recognition comes on the heels of being placed #22 on the Best Places To Work in PA list last week and being recognized as a finalist for the Stevie Award for Women in Business in the Women Helping Women category in New York City last month.
