Momentum, Inc. recently donated to the United Way of Genesee County (UWGC) Flint Water Fund as part of a wellness initiative called “The Switcharoo,” which encouraged employees to switch bad habits with new good habits. For every habit changed, money was raised and a donation of $270 was contributed to the Flint Water Fund for the purchase and distribution of bottled water for the residents of Flint, Michigan. Momentum’s wellness program offers employees the chance to participate in a variety of wellness activities throughout the year and often combines the efforts with volunteering initiative such as this donation.

The UWGC encourages all Flint, Michigan residents to use water filters for clean, safe water access, but they realize that many residents rely on bottled water as their clean water source. As a result, the UWGC will use all raised funds through its Flint Water Fund to purchase bottled water.

Momentum also recently supported Vietnam Veterans of America – Capitol Chapter and the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. at a golf outing sponsored by the Turnpike Employees Association, which encourages individuals to come out and support local wounded soldiers. Momentum sponsored the event and had a team of individuals participate in the outing that assisted over 1,400 families.

Momentum raises money and awareness for local and other charities as part of their “Sharing Our Success” campaign. The company started the campaign in 2008 as a way to give back to the local community.
