Momentum, Inc. Makes Donation as part of Briana’s Hope
Momentum, Inc. is proud to be a part of Briana’s Hope and its battle against childhood cancer. Momentum recently made donations to the Cumberland Valley High School (CVHS) Mini-THON and the Hospice Care of Central Pennsylvania in the memory of Briana Keefe, who lost her battle to a rare form of cancer in 2009. Briana’s brother accepted the check on her behalf at Mini-THON this past school year, to mark what would have been Briana’s senior year of high school.
Briana Keefe was a 10-year-old from Mechanicsburg who lost her battle with cancer in 2009. Briana was a 5th Grader at Hampden Elementary School when she was diagnosed with glioma, an untreatable tumor at the base of her neck, earlier the same year. Briana’s Hope raises money for organizations that have joined in the fight against childhood cancer, including the Four Diamonds Fund, Penn State Hershey Medical Center Glioma Research, Hospice of Central Pennsylvania and Johns Hopkins Hospital. Hospice of Central Pennsylvania is an identified charity of Briana’s Hope for the role they played in the care of Briana.
Momentum raises money and awareness for local charities as part of their “Sharing Our Success” campaign. The company started the campaign in 2008 as a way to give back to the local community.
