Momentum Spreads Holiday Cheer
Momentum, Inc. helped spread holiday cheer to UPMC Pinnacle patients on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 by decorating their Stars of Hope holiday tree at the West Shore Hospital as a way to support the UPMC Pinnacle Auxiliary. Momentum employees also helped to gather multiple food donations for the Bailey House.
The UPMC Pinnacle Auxiliary is a group of volunteers who plan events to financially support various PinnacleHealth programs and service, including the Bailey House, which operates solely on donations to underwrite the cost for guests to stay free of charge. Bailey House is a “Home Away From Home”, which provides a place for families outside of the immediate Harrisburg area to reside while their seriously ill loved one is hospitalized. The Bailey House is located two blocks from Harrisburg Hospital and operates as a 24-hour-a-day facility which provides lodging, shared bath, common area with television and telephone, linens and refreshments.
Momentum raises money and awareness for local charities as part of their “Sharing Our Success” campaign. The company started the campaign in 2008 as a way to give back to the local community. Bailey House is one of Momentum’s supported charities that they support each year. Momentum will be celebrating its 20th year in 2018.
